A local ice cream truck is aiming to empower African American men and women in our inner city.
The business is called Brown Betty, named after a 25 year old Baltimore man that was killed after trying to stop a fight in his neighborhood in 2002.
Making ice cream is just the half of the business' goal; it also teaches people how to run their own business!
A tricycle is now part of the initiative, and you'll be able to find it at local festivals soon.
The minds behind Brown Betty joined Karen live on "Good Day Philadelphia" to talk details on Tuesday morning.
Mike and Jenn try out some of KimbertonWhole Foods and Victory Brewpub's beer inspired ice cream.
