PSPCA Evacuates House Due To Cat Hoarding

Humane Law Enforcement members from the Pennsylvania SPCA have descended on the 7000 block on Sprague Street to rescue over a dozen cats from a house.

Officers on scene describe this as a hoarding situation.  The PSPCA did obtain a search warrant following complaints of strong odor coming from the property.  As of 2 PM, 15 cats have been rescued.

L & I officials have been called in to evacuate the house.
