NYPD looking for bag snatching suspect

Police are searching for the suspect who robbed a woman before crashing into a home in Brooklyn attempting to drive off with her purse Saturday morning.

The suspect held up the woman on Flatbush Avenue and Avenue T and then tried to flee in his white Nissan Maxima. He crashed the vehicle into a home on Beverley Road and Lott Street around 7:15 a.m., according to police.

Authorities say the suspect ran from the scene of the crash with the bag in his hand.

According to the NY Post, the suspect took out a three-foot brick wall with his car, as well as an iron fence, bush and stop sign. The house only sustained had minor damage.

Reportedly, police have two of the passengers into custody and are investigating if they have any connection to the robbery. One of the passengers is being treated at Kings County Hospital for head trauma.
