ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WJBK) -

Four peregrine falcons born atop of the University of Michigan hospital have new names.

The female names include 'Maize' and 'Blue.' The male falcons are named 'Howard' and 'Woodson' after Desmond Howard and Charles Woodson, the Wolverines two most recent Heisman Trophy winners.

The chicks hatched at the end of April on the hospital's roof.

The university had launched a contest on its Facebook page to help determine the names.
