WEST BLOOMFIELD TWP., Mich. (WJBK) -

Authorities say they have recovered the body of a man who jumped off a boat and disappeared in an Oakland County lake.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office identified the victim as 21-year-old Lucas Zaima of Beverly Hills.

Sgt. Pat Hatfield says Dive Team members on Friday afternoon used a robotic camera equipped with sonar to locate Zaima's body in 90 feet of murky water.

Zaima was said to be on a friend's boat with six other people when he jumped into the water in the early morning hours.

Hatfield says police were notified and began their search around 1:30 a.m. He says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the drowning.

An autopsy is planned.

We'll have more on this story tonight during FOX 2 News beginning at 5 p.m.
