Princesses: Long Island

Ashlee White, Chanel Omari and Amanda Bertoncini are among the stars of the hit new reality show 'Princesses: Long Island.'

The cast of six unmarried, 20-something women live with their parents on Long Island in the lap of luxury.

The ladies are bringing stereotypes to the small screen in a big way.

Critics say the show portrays young, Jewish women as unable to care for themselves.

"It's about love, friendship and family. It's definitely a comedy," said Omari.

Others have compared the series to the MTV reality show 'Jersey Shore' and its star 'Snooki.'

"I'll take that. I think because I'm 4'9" that's why I get it," said White.

'Princesses: Long Island' airs Sundays at 9 pm on Bravo.
