Police are investigating an overnight shooting on the 1500 block of Judson Way in North Philadelphia.
Arriving on scene just after 2:30 a.m. officers found a 16 year old male inside an apartment suffering from a single gunshot wound to the left leg. He was rushed to Hahnemann Hospital and listed in stable condition.
The teen told police he was playing cards with friends at the apartment and left to pick-up food at a Chinese restaurant at 23rd St. & Oxford Ave.
While walking back, he was inside the courtyard of the Blumberg projects when he heard a single gunshot and was hit in the rear of his left leg. He went back to the apartment where police were called.
So far no motive and no arrest.
Waking up to dense fog today. Poor visibility slowing us down.
But at least it's mild. Temps are about 15-degrees above average today, despite the continued clouds & drizzle. High in the lower 60s.
Our next cold front comes through tomorrow, with rain, especially on Friday afternoon. With the blast of cold air that follows, we'll probably have a dry day on Saturday, and the chance of a Sunday wintry mix into the afternoon and evening. Stay tuned!
