"I felt heartbroken," his mother is quoted as saying. "I couldn't eat or sleep and I cried every day thinking my son was missing and didn't have enough food or clothes out there."

Lou Gang was kidnapped when he was five in Sichuan, China. He was later abandoned by his kidnappers and was adopted by a kind family in Fujian, nearly 1,000 miles away.

But Lou refused to give up hope of finding his biological parents when he grew up.

23 years later, Lou was still searching. That's when he took advantage of technology and went on a lost children site called Baobeihuijia, which translated, means "babies come home." He posted a description of what he remembered of his hometown.

Before he knew it, he was matched with a report 23 years ago from Sichuan. Lou turned to Google Maps, and zoomed in on the area listed, and he recognized the two bridges that the satellite showed. He cried tears of joy.

"Everyday before I went to bed, I forced myself to re-live the life spent in my old home," Lou reflected to a local news portal, "So I wouldn't forget."

With persistence and the help of technology, the twenty-eight year old successfully returned home after almost a quarter of a decade lost.

Lou, who's given name from his biological parents is Huang Jun, was finally reunited with his biological parents in mid-May.

    NICE EASTER WEEKEND

The first half of the holiday weekend has been great and Easter Sunday looks just as nice. Clouds thin out late tonight with temperatures falling back to the 40s.

Initially it'll be jacket weather early Sunday morning but plenty of sunshine will warm us into the 60s by afternoon.  High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday.

It will be noticeably cooler and breezy at the shore with highs in the low 50s.  Quiet conditions continue into Monday.
