Whole Foods Recalls Cheese After Bacteria Contamination

Posted: Updated:

A cheese recall at Whole Foods tonight because of contamination from harmful bacteria.

The cheese in question belongs to the Crave Brothers brand. Crave Brothers has announced a voluntary recall of Les Freres, Petit Frere, and Petit Frere with Truffles cheese made on July 1 or earlier.

The recall affects 30 states and the District of Columbia. Several people have already been sickened in three states, and one person has died in Minnesota, according to officials.

Whole Foods says that customers who bought the contaminated cheese should throw the cheese away and bring the receipt in for a full refund.
