Shooting Near School Playground Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Wounded

PHILADELPHIA -

One man is dead and another is in the hospital after a double shooting near an elementary school playground in Olney.

It happened at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 5800 block of North Fifth Street.

Police say the 21-year-old victim died at the hospital.

The second victim, who is in his teens, was shot multiple times. He is in critical condition.

The search is on for the gunman. Police are checking surveillance video in the area.
