The episode is set to air in Fall 2014 on FOX.

According to a news release promoting the crossover episode, Family Guy's Peter Griffin was quoted as saying, "FOX hasn't spent this much money since they took Simon Cowell tight T-shirt shopping."

Homer Simpson said, "Finally I can get my hands on this guy!"

Family Guy is entering its 11th season, while The Simpsons is in production on its "record-annihilating 25th season."
