Cops: Men Raided Quadriplegic's Home 3 Times, Tried To Kill Him

MEDFORD, N.J. -

Police have charged seven young men who they say burglarized the home of a disabled Burlington County man up to three times. Two of the suspects face attempted murder counts.

The arrests were a result of five-month investigation by Medford police that began Feb. 24 after four of the suspects went into the disabled man's home as he slept, police said.

According to police, two of the suspects -- Kyle Krosnodomskie, 18, of Mount Laurel, and Mohamed Abdelfatah, 20, of Belmawr -- intended to commit robbery, but  police allege that Dominic Juliano, 18, and Mark Halcomb Jr., 19, both of Mount Laurel, had conspired to kill the victim.

"Juliano was armed with a knife and attempted to kill the victim as he slept in his wheelchair,
however he was stopped by one of the co-conspirators before injuring the victim," police said in a news release.

Police allege in May that Halcomb, Juliano and Andrey Lesyuk, 19, of Philadelphia, returned to the home around 2 a.m. to burglarize it but fled after finding the victim was awake.

Three days after that, Halcomb and Lesyuk were joined by Marcello Ferreira, 19, of Philadelphia, and Alfred Rizzo, 20, of Morrestown, returned around 3 a.m. to steal a safe containing jewelry, knives and personal documents, police say.

Investigators allege that Halcomb orchestrated all three incidents, recruiting the others to take part.

Three others have been arrested, including Juliano, whose 2010 Dodge Challenger was allegedly used during the crime and was seized by police.

The three suspects who are wanted by police are Abdelfatah, Lesyuk and Ferreira.

Halcomb and Juliano face attempted murder counts, in addition to the burglary and theft counts all seven of them were charged with, police said.
