Darby Officer Accused Of Holding 2 Women Against Their Will

Posted: Updated:
DARBY, Pa. -

A Darby Township police officer has been charged with allegedly holding women against their will in his police car, prosecutors say.

Officer Christopher H. Scott has been arrested and was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon in front of a district magistrate in Delaware County.

The 34-year-old officer from Berwyn faces 16 charges, including multiple counts of simple assault and harassment to kidnapping and stalking.

He faces a minimum of 10 years on one count of kidnapping, FOX 29's Stephanie Esposito reported from Darby.

Both incidents occurred over the weekend, one during a traffic stop after a woman had left a bar and another involving a woman walking home from a convenience store.

Scott allegedly asked the women what they could do for him to get them out of it. Court documents state that the woman believed that he was trying to obtain sexual favors from them.

Esposito will have a live report later today on the FOX 29 News at 5 and 6.
