Pennsylvania's GED test is about to get a bit tougher.
The test's five subject areas of writing, social studies, science, reading and math, will be revised to reflect standards and topics that 45 states require students to learn.
The current exam will be replaced at the end of the year. Officials say the new computer-based test will offer a better way to find out if students are ready for college and the real world.
People have until December to complete the current exam.
Winter Weather Advisories take effect for our northwestern countines Sunday afternoon through early Monday morning. Snow will overspread the area from south to north Sunday afternoon.
The snow will bring light accumulations of 1-3" before mixing with sleet and rain by evening. Eventually the mix will become all rain.
Rain lingers into Monday morning washing away any accumulation. However, watch for icy roads Sunday night.
