SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) -

A robbery at the Elegance Creations jewelry store on Schoenherr near 23 Mile in Shelby Township was caught on surveillance video.

"Once they're here, they're in and out so fast, in minutes," said owner Pierre Nahed. "Three guys can get a lot of things done in minutes."

The store's alarm went off just before 4:30 a.m. Thursday as the front glass of the store was smashed out. Several display cases were then shattered.

"This was three guys doing this with masks. They had gloves on," the owner said. "These guys are professionals. They've definitely done this before."

A delivery driver nearby who may have spotted their getaway vehicle is now working with police.

Investigators are also looking into whether this incident may be connected to other similar crimes in the area, only this one might not have been as profitable.

"We have a line that we leave out because it's all special order items and it's made out of alloy, and they probably thought they hit the jackpot because they thought it was real," Nahed  said. "It looks real, but it's not. So the laugh's on them."

Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call Shelby Township Police.
