Parents Of Two-Year Old Make Scary Discovery

Posted: Updated:

A scary situation for parents in Texas.

Marc Gilbert, and his wife, Lauren say they heard the voice of a strange man coming through a baby monitor in their two-year-old daughter's room.

The man apparently hacked into the monitor through the home's wireless Internet system.  He would curse and say sexually explicit things to the young girl.

Gilbert says: "As a father, I'm supposed to protect her against people like this. And so it's a little embarrassing to say the least but it's not going to happen again."

The girl was not disturbed by the hacker because she was born deaf, and depends on a cochlear implant to hear.

The Gilberts did not report the incident to police, but say they want to warn other parents about the potential danger.
