Coast Guard boats and state police crews are done searching for a kayaker who went missing in the Delaware River off National Park, NJ on Saturday afternoon. According to authorities, his body was found around 7:29 p.m. on Sunday, just 100 yards from where he went missing.
Investigators say that a woman called police just before 3 p.m. on Saturday to report that her husband was missing. She said he had been kayaking on the river and that when she turned to look back at him, the kayak was empty.
The man's name has not been released.
A Coast Guard dive team searched the waters yesterday and today before find the man late Sunday afternoon.
