Man Caught On Tape Robbing 99 Cent Store, Cops Say

PHILADELPHIA -

Police are looking to identify the suspect who robbed a 99 Cent store in Cedarbrook.

On Aug. 28 at 2:24 p.m., the suspect entered the store located at 7417 Stenton Ave. armed with a handgun pointing it at an employee and demanding money from the cash register, police say. After the employee opened the cash register and gave the suspect $200, the suspect ran north on Stenton.

Police described the suspect as a black male weighing 180 to 190 pounds, wearing a dark-blue hooded sweatshirt, blue pants, white sneakers and had his face covered with a white cloth and sunglasses. He was armed with a handgun.
