The Second City Network stirs up Syria dialogue with viral video

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The Second City Network took a satirical look at President Obama's push for military intervention in Syria, producing a video that has received 2.2 million views on YouTube and garnered national attention.

The political parody was made right here in Chicago, using Second City talent. "Help Kickstart World War III!" employs comedy to prompt people to really consider their opinions on Syria, actively find out more information to back up their opinions and create a dialogue.

Creators Tyler Alexander and John Loose joined Good Day to talk about the viral response, where the idea for the sketch came from, how people are reacting and how the creation of digital content is helping to grow The Second City.
