Powerball Fever Hits Fourth Biggest Payout

Powerball Fever is taking over the area once again and people are snatching up their tickets for tonight's big drawing.

The Jackpot is up to $400 million dollars, the fourth biggest payout in its history. No one matched all the numbers in Saturday's drawing so all that cash is still up for grabs.

A person's odds of winning the big jackpot are one in 175 million.That's how many combinations are possible with the game's five white balls and one red ball.

In this case, there have been 11 drawings since August 10 without a winner.

Before that we saw New Jersey's "Ocean's 16" claim their chunk of that massive $448 million dollar jackpot.

FOX 29's Dawn Timmeney went live Wednesday outside the 7/11 in Oaklyn, NJ. She said there was a steady stream of people at this location.

According to experts you still have the same chances of winning. It doesn't matter how many you buy you still have a slim chance of winning. It will go higher by Wednesday.
