CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The Red Bull Flugtag exhibition comes to Chicago on Saturday! The world's wildest human-powered aircrafts will take off from Burnham Park – and hopefully soar over Lake Michigan.

Local teams will launch their homemade flying machines from a 30 ft. flight deck and try to fly this weekend. One of those teams is made up of the Zoot Suit Crew - the ultimate Chicago Bears fans.

Hangars open at 11 a.m. The first flight will take place at 1 p.m. and the event is free!

Snowmobile racer Maya Levi LaVallee, wave surfer Maya Gabeira and "Chicago Fire" star Jesse Spencer will judge the Chicago contest. The Midwest teams will be judged on how far it can fly, how creative they are and perhaps best of all, showmanship.

Flugtag events in Dallas/Fort Worth, Long Beach, Miami and Washington D.C. will also take place at the exact same time!
