Thanks to technology, a soldier deployed overseas gets to see his twin girls make their way into the world.

Private First Class Colton Romney is stationed in Afghanistan, but he was still able to be by his wife's side by video chat. A nurse held a cell phone during the delivery so that he could see his daughters, Liberty and Lauren. After the birth, Romney cried tears of joy, according to his wife Shannon.

Romney was also deployed when his wife had the ultrasound to confirm they were having twins.

And making this moment even more special, the girls were born on their mother's birthday!

Romney and his wife Shannon have been dating since high school. They got married in March of 2012.
