SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -

You might remember a story we did last night about a real estate agent who stole jewelry from homes she was showing, then pawned them off. Well, a woman who was watching called us after she recognized a ring at the pawn shop which she believes was stolen from her house.

It's a rare and random coincidence, but there was a shot of lavender jade ring in the story that caught a Scottsdale woman's eye.

She thinks it could be the key to solving the robbery that happened at her home a year ago.

"It was like one a million, I could not believe it when I saw the ring on TV," says Sandee Savarise.

Sandee Savarise was watching FOX 10 Thursday night when she saw this ring. She believes it was taken when her home which was broken into last year.

"I had the ring specially made when I was in China so I'm positive that that ring is mine."

The day after she saw it on our newscast, Sandee paid a visit to the pawn shop.

"I looked at, it I put it on and it fit my finger perfectly because I had it made for me."

The manager at the pawn shop told us she's 100 percent sure that ring wasn't Sandee's, and she says she can prove it.

"I personally know that we had this ring in our possession quite a few years," says Alexandra Zeitsev. "In fact I have pictures of the ring which are dated quite a few years back."

The manager says she's looking for those pictures, and the pawn ticket, which would have name of the person who sold it to the shop.

The ring is now in the hands of a Scottsdale Police detective who will sort through the evidence.

Meanwhile, both Sandee and the pawn shop owner are standing their ground.

"I'm 100 percent positive. Like I said I do handle the sales, I know I personally handled that ring quite a few years ago," says Zeitsev.

"I am 99.9 percent positive because the ring was specially made. I've never seen another ring like that because its lavender jade it's very unusual," says Sandee.

If the ring does turns out to be Sandee's, she's hoping this will lead to justice. Detectives closed the investigation into the burglary at her home nearly a year ago because they didn't have any leads. They've re-opened the case today in light of this new evidence.

We'll have to wait and see what the conclusion of this story will be.
