Nasty Nor-Easter Hitting Jersey Shore

Posted: Updated:

The waves are eight feet high, which is great for surfers. However, for everyone else on the Jersey Coast, this Nor-Easter is causing some trouble.

The worry is that it is so early in the off-season, and the dunes that were being rebuilt after Sandy are now being slowly washed away by this storm.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley reported live from the shore in Atlantic City. Rain was really pounding him when he first started reported. Now it's just wind. On the boardwalk, not a tourist was in sight. Keeley decided to demonstrate how strong the winds were. He opened an umbrella, and it was immediately blow inside out by the wind.

In front of the casinos, no trouble yet.
