Police Arrest Juvenile Involved In School Bus Brawl

Posted: Updated:

Chester Police have arrested a juvenile after a vicious beating was caught on tape.

On October 9, a student walked up to 17-year-old Dylan Fonner and punched him right in the face. It was all recorded by another student's cell phone camera.

Dylan suffered a bloody nose, three chipped teeth and a swollen lip. He was taken to a nearby hospital by his mother when he got home.

Fox 29 has now obtained the full video, which sheds new light on what happened.

The entire video of a Chester School Bus brawl showed what happened after Fonner was punched several times in the face.

The video was given to FOX 29 by a concerned family member. They say it shows the driver refusing to stop even as Dylan is still bleeding from the face.

The attackers kept laughing. The suspect recorded the video even panning to the blood on the floor. The video also shows the suspects preparing for the coordinated attack. Saying things like "get ready" before the first punch is thrown.

Dylan's mom Jackee told FOX29 on Monday she's furious that the driver did nothing to intervene on the ride home from the Delaware County Alternative School in Middletown.

We were the first to tell Dylan's mom that police arrested the juvenile suspected of throwing the punches with a search underway for the other two, but the family has Dylan in hiding until everyone is brought to justice.

In the meantime Chester Police say they arrested the punch thrower, a juvenile from Folcroft. They are looking for the other two and say they are from that area. The arrested juvenile is facing assault and possible related charges.
