Overturned Trash Truck Cleared; WB I-276 Reopened

Posted: Updated:
BENSALEM, Pa. -

An overturned tractor-trailer hauling trash that was blocking all westbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike has been cleared. Traffic is still currently exiting at exit 351.

The trailer has been up-righted, and crews have begun cleaning up the debris, say police, but no information as to when the detour will be lifted. The crash scene is between Bensalem (exit 351) and Willow Grove (exit 343). Before the scene was cleared, the traffic was approximately backed up for six miles, all the way to exit 358.

CHECK: Latest Traffic Conditions

SkyFOX over the scene shows all traffic is being forced off at Bensalem.

Expect major delays traveling through the area. Stay tuned to FOX 29 News and MyFOXPhilly.com for more on this developing story.
