A school bus carrying students from Lexington, Ky., catches fire in Tennessee on Friday, and the blaze is caught on tape in cell phone video obtained by WATE-TV.

The high school students were returning from a field trip to the Smoky Mountains when their bus went up in flames on Interstate 75.

All 33 people onboard, including the driver, were able to evacuate after a passenger noticed smoking coming from the rear of the bus.

No one was injured but some personal belongings were lost in the blaze.

Officials from Wombles Transportation, the charter bus company who owned the vehicle, suspect a bad alternator is to blame, although an official investigation remains ongoing.
