NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The Empire State Building followed up its Fourth of July light show, which accompanied the Macy's fireworks, with a Halloween-themed display of dynamic lights on October 31, according to the Empire State Realty Trust.

The light show, via the building's LED bulbs capable of generating 16 million colors, was synched to spooky music on Clear Channel radio stations Z100 and 103.5 KTU at 8:30 p.m. The playlist for the show included "This Is Halloween," "Ghostbusters," "Monster Mash," "Halloween," and "Somebody's Watching Me."

"My inspiration begins with the music. For the first-ever Halloween light show I approached this project by treating the Empire State Building as the ultimate canvas," Marc Brickman, the lighting designer, said in a statement. "Architectural lighting as theatre on the most iconic building in the world. It's as if I am painting with light and shadows for the entire world to see and enjoy."

The light and music show was featured during the Greenwich Village Halloween Parade.
