Cops Use Big Rigs To Catch People Texting & Driving

In Tennessee, highway patrol officers are swapping their squad cars for big rigs to catch people texting and driving.

The trucks are marked and have lights and sirens just like the standard police vehicles.

They say by sitting higher up, they have a better chance of spotting people texting and driving.

Special Patrols were out this week for a two-day sweep and dozens of drivers were ticketed.
