PHOENIX -

Accusations of bullying -- but this time, it's not on a school playground or by a student, but in the NFL locker room and by a professional football player.

Miami Dolphins player Richie Incognito, an Arizona native, has been suspended for allegedly harassing a teammate with alleged threats and derogatory comments.

Explicit and shocking -- the contents of a voice message Incognito allegedly sent to Miami teammate Jonathan Martin, according to ESPN.

Voice message reportedly from Incognito to teammate Martin in April 2013:
"Hey, wassup you half n**** piece of s***.  I saw you on Twitter, you been training 10 weeks."

Later in the message, Incognito reportedly says, "F*** you, you're still a rookie.  I'll kill you."

The 30-year-old Incognito has denied the allegations of bullying and says he wants to clear his name -- a name that may seem familiar to those who followed football at Mountain Ridge High School in Glendale in the late 1990s.

Incognito played both offense and defense at MRHS.  He also won several awards, including the Frank Kush award given to the best offensive lineman in Arizona.

Incognito's family has moved from the Glendale neighborhood, but records say Incognito bought a home two years ago in a Scottsdale gated community for over $700,000.

We dialed his house from the security gate and the man who answered said he was Incognito, but said no thank you and hung up when I asked for comment.

Plenty of others are commenting.

"It's not cool, but it just happens and there's nothing you can really do about it.  Put all these rules out there.  Personally, I don't think it'll ever stop," said MRHS senior Nick Collins.

Arizona Cardinals' Darnell Dockett said the NFL will buckle down after this incident.

"..'cause it's bigger than trying to hurt other guys.  You're trying to hurt guys on your team mentally, which could be worse than trying to hurt someone physically."
