Hamburg Police Need Help Finding Stolen Horse

HAMBURG, Pa. -

A Hanovarian Stud was taken from 19 Featherhill Road in Lenhartsville, Pa. on Wednesday between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., according to police. "Caz," as he is commonly known, as is a Black stud with a white blaze down the center of his nose. See the pictures for more on how he looks.

According to the owner, his horse was missing from the barn when he got home.

Caz's lineage is long and quite impressive, so this prize possession's disappearance is one of great loss and angst, according to the owner.

Police say that horse thefts are taken very seriously because some end up at in slaughterhouses.

Police have made one arrest, but they need help finding the horse. Anyone with information on Caz should call the Hamburg State Police at 610-562-6885
