TREDYFFRIN, Pa. -

Police are asking for the public's help to identify the man who they say was caught on surveillance cameras robbing a Citizen's Bank branch in Paoli.

Investigators say they're looking into whether he could be the same suspect wanted in connection with a string of eight robberies or attempts in Bucks and Montgomery counties.

In on Thursday night's robbery, Tredyffrin police say the suspect entered the bank inside the Acme Market at 39 Leopard Road, then presented a demand note indicating he had a gun and requesting cash. He got away with $1,700 cash.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, in his mid-20s to 30s, about 6 feet tall with a medium build, brown hair, goatee or light beard, wearing a blue hooded sweat shirt or fleece with a red colored brimmed baseball hat, black pants and light colored athletic shoes.

The subject has been observed in a silver four-door sedan at multiple robbery scenes.

The man responsible for this robbery may be connected to the string of others during the span of the last month, including incidents at other banks, a Jimmy John's, Saladworks, and Lukoil.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact lead investigator Det. Robert Bostick at rbostick@tredyffrin.org or at 610-408-3651.

Above this story is a slideshow of photos previously released by the FBI and other jurisdictions in connection with the suburban robbery spree.
