Blind Puppy, Guide Dog Being Adopted

Posted: Updated:

Remember the brothers Jermaine and Jeffrey? We featured them on "Good Day Philadelphia" last month, and now they are on their way to a new home.

Jermaine, you may recall, is a seeing-eye dog for his brother, Jeffrey. The pups were found by Operation Ava, a no-kill animal shelter.

A picture of them hugging each other was posted by the Chester County SPCA and went viral. The shelter received thousands of requests from all over the world to adopt them.

But one couple from Springfield Township seemed to have the best home to offer.

With a spacious backyard and no kids, Veronica and Jonathan McKee are taking the pups home Monday.

FOX 29's Steve Keeley has more details in this video report.
