Foster Parents Of 50 Grateful For Children

Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX, AZ -

One Arizona family has a lot to be grateful for this thanksgiving a lot of love. From the nearly 50 children they have fostered over the years.

Throwing the ball around is a favorite activity for James Weber and his boys.

"When they call me dad the first time its a great feeling I love it," Weber said.

What makes moments like this all the more special is that Weber and his wife Michelle Campbell are foster parents.

"We tried to have children as a couple and we weren't successful so we decided well you know we always wanted to adopt so were just going to go in head first and we did," Campbell said.

In the past 7 years the couple has fostered 45 children in the Arizona Foster Care System. There are more than 14,000 more that still need love and care

"There really wasn't a big difference between the children that came through our home and the children that came out of my body," Campbell said

Michelle and James have adopted four kids and are the process of adopting two more.

By sharing their story they will help even more kids find forever homes this holiday season.

    NICE EASTER WEEKEND

The first half of the holiday weekend has been great and Easter Sunday looks just as nice. Clouds thin out late tonight with temperatures falling back to the 40s.

Initially it'll be jacket weather early Sunday morning but plenty of sunshine will warm us into the 60s by afternoon.  High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday.

It will be noticeably cooler and breezy at the shore with highs in the low 50s.  Quiet conditions continue into Monday.
