Man Found Dead After North Philadelphia House Fire

PHILADELPHIA -

A death investigation is under way after a house fire in North Philadelphia.

The flames sparked Friday evening at a home on the 2300 block of West Firth Street.

After putting out the fire, crews found a man's body in a second-floor bedroom. His name has not been released.

There's nNo word yet on what caused the fire.

Firefighters say there were no working smoke detectors in the home.
