Drunk Driver Leads Police On Wild Chase In Ohio

A suspected drunk driver leads police on a wild chase through Bexley, Ohio, and it's all caught on camera.

Bexley police were out looking for drunk drivers during the early morning hours on Thanksgiving Day when they spotted a white Nissan blowing through a red light. They then tried to pull it over.

The car eventually pulls off into a driveway, but after the cop gets out of the car , she backs right into his cruiser. She's laying on the horn and blasting her music as she backs into the cruiser another time, and then another time.

Several officers then show up. They yell at her to stop and try to smash open her windows.

Finally, she drives through the backyard and drives off.

The chase continues, twisting and turning through neighborhood streets in Bexley. She barely avoids spike strips. Finally, a Columbus police cruiser comes in, pulls a pit maneuver and gets the suspected drunk driver to lose control.

The car goes over the curb and down a small embankment. Police say 25 year old Sally Kurgis is the woman behind the wheel.

She's now facing nine charges, including felonious assault, resisting arrest and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
