Police are looking to identify the individuals responsible for a robbery/aggravated assault in Washington Square.
On November 10 at 2:00 am, the complainant, a 36 year-old male was walking on the 200 block of South Camac Street when an unknown male punched him from behind and knocked him to the ground, police say. While the complainant was on the ground and unconscious, the suspect continued to punch him in the face. After taking the complainant's wallet, cell phone and gold with diamond necklace, the suspect fled the area in an unknown direction, according to authorities.
Police describe the first suspect as a white male, wearing a red/white/blue coat, dark colored pants and shoes and holding a flash light. Police say the second suspect was a white male, short hair, wearing glasses, dark colored dress coat, blue jeans and brown shoes.
