ASU Vs University Of Arizona Game Sparks Fan Brawl

Posted: Updated:

Things got way out of hand at a University of Arizona versus Arizona State game. Warning, this video is pretty violent.

Two fans are seen arguing in the stand, then, out of blue, the older fan (a person rooting for Arizona University) kicks the ASU fan in the face.

The video went viral on YouTube, gaining more than 750,000 views since December 2nd, 2013.

After the incident, another video shows the massive brawl that broke out in the stands among fans. It first, fans try to restrain the two from going at it, but very soon, the ones who are trying to stop the fight start fighting.

You can hear people shouting, "ASU, ASU, ASU" after the fight gets stopped.

It's unclear what triggered the event. According to Michael Williams, the person who shot the video, it's believed the older man instigated it because he may have been drunk.

Williams says he's a fan of these games and friendly rivalry, but may think twice about where he sits the next time he goes to an ASU game.

"I would go back to the game, but I wouldn't want to sit in the student section again," he told myfoxphoenix. "A little too nuts.. wouldn't want to get hit with a right hook or anything."

Myfoxphoenix contacted ASU police, who tell us they are aware of the video, but that no one filed a complaint.
