Some children are helping to make this holiday season a special one for military families.
Kindergarten students at Mary Mother of the Redeemer School in North Wales filled stockings with toiletries and snacks on Friday.
They're being sent to soldiers serving in Afghanistan.
The students have also adopted several local military families who will be getting the stockings as well.
Their teacher says a simple candy cane can bring a smile to a soldier away from home during the holidays, and the students are happy to make that happen.
