Homeless Man Becomes App Developer

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK, NY -

A homeless man in New York is now a computer coder. A complete stranger offered Leo Grand a deal, either a hundred bucks or lessons on how to code.

He chose to learn how to code

Now, he has launched his very own app.

It's called "Trees for Cars" and it helps New York commuters share rides and tracks how much carbon dioxide they are saving.

The app is available for 99-cents with all profits going towards Leo's next project.
