3 Fatal Shootings Over Weekend In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA -

A violent weekend across the city of Philadelphia left several people dead and others hurt.

Three suspects are still on the loose after a deadly shooting in East Mount Airy.

Police say 25-year-old Bernard Franklin was shot and killed along the 1300 block of East Johnson Street on Saturday night. A woman was shot in the foot. She's expected to be OK.

And in North Philadelphia, one person is dead after a gunman opened fire. This happened around 8p.m. Sunday on the 1900 block of Woodstock Street.

Police say a 30-year-old man was shot twice in the back. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

And there was another deadly shooting, this one in West Philadelphia.

Police say a man in his 20s was shot seven times. This happened on the 3800 block of Reno Street just before 9 p.m. Sunday. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.

There are no arrests in any of these cases.
