Video: Golden Retriever Rescued In River

Posted: Updated:

A Christmas miracle happened for one Massachusetts dog owner.

Their dog, a golden retriever named Crosby, fell through ice and was trapped in the Elm Bank section of the Charles River in Wellesley.

Two Wellesley firefighters jumped in the river to save Crosby using cold water survival suit.

The two got the dog to land where Wellesley fire and police officials dried him off.

Authorities say Crosby is in good health and has been returned to its owner.
