Video Shows Man Robbing Supermarket At Gunpoint

Philadelphia police release surveillance video of an armed robbery caught on camera.

This one happened Monday afternoon at Sam's Supermarket on the 2800 block of North Front Street in North Philadelphia.

The man, who is seen pointing a gun at gun at employees, made them turn around as he ran off with cash.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male, about 5 feet 10 inches or 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a thin build. He wore a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with a multicolored decal on the front, black pants, black and white sneakers, black gloves, and he was armed with a handgun with white on the grip.

    Summer is not over just yet!  90 degree temperatures will take us into September.  Much of the week ahead is looking hot with temps in the 90's and upper 80's.
