Suspect Caught On Camera Taking Money From Store

PHILADELPHIA -

The Philadelphia Police Department's East Detectives Division is looking to identify the suspect who robbed Ellen Grocery Store in Upper Kensington.

On January 5, 2014 at 12:35 p.m., say police, the suspect went inside the booth at the store, pushed aside a clerk and took an unknown amount of money from the cash register. According to police, the suspect fled the store and drove a gold minivan with a Pa. tag # JJF-4586, which was last seen going East on Ontario Street.

Here's the suspect description, according to surveillance: Hispanic male, 25-35 years-of-age, 5'6"-5'8." He sports a goatee, has a medium brown complexion, stocky build. During the robbery, he wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, tan pants and white sneakers.

Again, the vehicle description, according to police: Gold minivan with a Pa tag # JJF-4586.
