An Indianapolis woman had to deliver her own baby when she went into labor about two weeks early. Mariah Grove was snowbound when her water broke on Sunday and she was all alone.
Grove had previously been planning to deliver her baby at home , but the weather was so bad her midwife could not reach her.
"Her due date was not until the 21st. I think she wanted to see the blizzard. She didn't want to miss out," Grove said.
Grove says as soon as her water broke all fear went away because she knew it would not do her any good.
She delivered a healthy baby girl weighing seven and a half pounds.
A report of a deadly shooting Thursday morning just off Widener University's campus led to an alert urging school community members to "please remain indoors until further notice," but police have now given the all-clear.
Flames are tearing through a South Jersey forest right now, and this wildfire is only expected to grow.
