Study: Chances Of Being Contacted Online Go Up As Income Goes Up

It's all about the Benjamin's when it comes to looking for love online, at least according to a study.

A new study found that both men and women want their potential partner to make more than $150,000.

Researchers looked at more than 1.5 million hits on the dating site AYI.com.

They found that as a man's income increases, so does his chances of being contacted by a woman. The case was the same for women earning six digits or more.

The specific figures are, men are 82% more likely to be contacted by a woman if he makes $150,000 a year than if he makes $20,000 a year. Women are 65% more likely to be contacted by a woman if she makes $150,000 or more compared to $20,000 or below.
