East Detectives: Suspect Caught On Camera Shooting Man

PHILADELPHIA -

The Philadelphia Police Department's East Detectives Division is looking to identify the suspect who shot a 38 year-old male in West Kensington.

Police say that on December 28, 2013, at 10:49 am, the victim was shot three times by the suspect. It was all caught on Surveillance. Investigators say that the incident happened on the southwest corner of Lawrence and Huntingdon Streets. The victim was shot two times in the right buttocks and one time in the right thigh. After the shooting the suspect fled and was last seen west on Huntingdon Street, according to police. The victim was transported to Temple Hospital and is recovering, say police.

Here's the Suspect Description according to police from the surveillance footage: Black male, medium to dark complexion, wearing a black baseball hat with a black Phillies ‘P', black jacket and maroon or red Temple hooded sweatshirt. His weapon was a handgun.
