Couple Letting Internet Name Kid Gets Funny Suggestions

Posted: Updated:

A couple in Canada is expecting a baby on April 2, 2014, and they're letting the Internet name their baby.

Stephen and his wife created the website NameMyDaughter.com, where anyone can vote on the baby's first and middle names.

However, the couple is reserving the right to make the final decision, so their daughter doesn't end up with something ridiculous.

"We will ultimately be making the final decision, Alas my daughter shall not be named WackyTaco692. Sorry guys the wife wouldn't go for a free for all," Stephen writes.

And they may just need to make the final decision because a last check of the website showed that the top name right now is "Ameila All-Spark."

Other first name contenders are Cthulhu, Laquisha, Megatron, Slagathor and Luna. Other middle name contenders are Mae, Rose, Salad, and Of-The-Sea.

So far, there have been more than 7,000 names submitted.
