Three People Arrested In Connection With Bank Robbery

Posted: Updated:
LOWER MERION TWP., Pa. -

Three people are under arrest tonight in connection with this bank robbery back in November.

Police in Lower Merion, Montgomery County say it was partially an inside job with a bank employee conspiring with three robbers to hit the Wells Fargo Bank along levering mill road in Bala Cynwyd.

Marquis Wilson, Malcolm Moore and Calia Kane are all under arrest.

Surveillance video showed the November 2013 robbery that left employees and customers hitting the floor as the suspects rushed inside the bank branch on the 300 block of Levering Mill Road.

Police say one of the subjects jumped over the counter while the other two stayed in the lobby area. The men robbed three tellers of an unspecified amount of cash and demanded the cell phones of the employees and customers in the bank, according to police.

The surveillance is captured from multiple angles, and it shows what a terrifying ordeal was clearly. At one point, a customer crawls toward a cubicle, only to find a robber standing on the desk and pointing a gun. Others emerge from offices with their hands in the air.

After obtaining some of the cell phones and the cash, the three robbers fled the bank out the rear door.

Police are still looking for one more person in connection with the robbery.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Lower Merion Police Department at 610-649-1000.
