Fit tracking bands

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Quantified self movement is all the rage in fitness and health circles.

It's a way of tracking how much you walk, exercise and sleep. To do so, people wear a wrist band or wrist watch.

Technology expert Shelly Palmer is a big fan of the Jawbone wrist band.

"I'm 58 pounds lighter," said Palmer about the lightweight band that sells for about $129.

"It's fashionable and water resistant. Couple it with a digital scale and a calorie tracker app like My Fitness Pal or Lost It, and you can create a really simple diet for yourself," said Palmer.

I started at the Improv, no longer here, and he was a fan. I was drinking back then and I said 'I hate you.' We had a fistfight at a bar and we bonded. We love each other and yet we annoy each other," said Lewis. The pair was quite the comedic duo on the hit HBO show.
